"The Final Flight"
I have left my footprints in this old earth my home, but now I start my final Journey on my own.
As I broke that bound me down, I heard the trumpet's glorious sounds.
I gave up this temple my body here and return whence I cam, spirit borne without fear.
As we part from each other here today, pray for peace to be the human way.
To the heavens I raise my voice in song, till next we gather, it won’t be long.
Love to all I sing, I sing, my spirit is borne on two white wings.

"Wings"
Oh, to catch the wings of flight
and soar where eagles go,
To leave the woes of troubled souls behind me far below.
I'd listen to the song of birds and sail in endless flight, then chase the sun through cloudy paths and play with stars at night.
The boundless heavens for my home, the breeze to lift me high. To rise above my mortal bonds, and never truly die.
Knowing I had found the way to trails where angels trod, and when my wings could fly no more, Id take the hand of God.
C. David Hay
"For those I love...
For those who love Me"
When I am gone, release me...
Let me go---to find out all that I can
be, You mustn't tie yourself to me
with tears, be happy that we had our precious years. I gave you love. You can only guess how much you gave
me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you all have shown, but now it's time I traveled on my own. So grieve awhile for me,
as grieve you must. Then let your
grief be comforted by trust. It's only
for a while that we must part: so bless the memories that lie within your heart.
If you need me, call and I'll be there. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near. And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear all my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way on your own...and say, "Welcome Home"

Psalm 55: 6-8
"Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then I would fly away, and be at rest. Lo then I would wander far off and remain in the wilderness. I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.”
